Ohio Drug Card and United Networks of America Give Back to Nationwide Children's Hospital
On Friday, May 3rd, Ohio Drug Card’s David Murphy and Robert Oehler presented a check for $3,701.75 Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Nationwide is a nationally recognized pediatric healthcare center that provides treatment and services to all children, regardless of their family’s financial situation. Last year, 1.5 million patient visitors from all 50 states and over 40 countries walked through the doors of Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Funds raised by CMN partners, like Ohio Drug Card and United Networks of America are critical to their success. Scott Hilbert, Assistant Director of Community and Corporate Partnerships at Nationwide Children’s Hospital explained, “Each and every dollar raised has an impact on the future of one of our children at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, here in Columbus, Ohio. Whether it is in the form of genomic research, psychosocial programing, our Child Life program or simply giving a child a new toy when they having a tough day, the impact is monumental. On March 13, 2019 Ohio Drug Card’s Robert Oehler had the honor to meet with Mercy Children’s Hospital’s Children’s Miracle Network director, Kristi Frederick. This hospital provides medical attention and services to children across 14 counties and can only do it with the help of local and national sponsors like Ohio Drug Card and United Networks of America. Year-round, Ohio Drug Card donates to the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each time this Rx savings program is used when picking up your prescriptions from the pharmacy.
Since 2015, the United Networks of America partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised over $2.4 million dollars for local children’s hospitals. Of this, $876.35 has been raised for Mercy Children’s Hospital.

Ohio Drug Card Treats Dayton Children’s
As a resident of Ohio, residents have access to a statewide Prescription Assistance Program (PAP). This pharmacy coupon card provides Rx medication savings of up to 75% at more than 68,000 pharmacies across the country including CVS/pharmacy, Walgreens, Kroger, Acme, Walmart, Rite Aid, and many more.
Today, Ohio Drug Card presented Dayton Children’s with a check for $10,296.40. Since 2015, United Networks of America and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals have partnered across the U.S to raise more than $1 million for the 140 member hospitals in the United States, with local hospitals allocating funds how they are needed most. Making a donation with each processed transaction allows the UNA state card programs to be set apart by giving back to their local CMN Hospitals.

Ohio Drug Card Presents Donation to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital
Recently, Ohio Drug Card representatives Robert Oehler and Dave Murphy presented a donation to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Accepting the check on behalf of Cincinnati Children’s and CMN was Natalie Gerano, Corporate Donor Relations Officer for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Before the presentation, Natalie gave Robert and Dave a tour of the hospital including Seacrest Studios, a state of the art audio and video recording studio located in the main lobby. The studio broadcasts to all patient rooms and the kids are able to call in to request songs, be on a game show, or be a guest DJ.
